8 Lessons – Intensive Hand Building Course
This is an intensive course that covers a variety of hand building techniques that will equip you with the basics to pottery making using traditional techniques. This course is suitable for beginners who are looking for an entry point to pottery making.
In this course, you will learn:
make organic and structured forms;
- 3 different basic hand building techniques: pinching, coiling, slab works
- hand build handles;
- use moulds with hand building techniques;
- to glaze using pouring and dipping techniques
- bring home up to 8 – 10 pieces of self-made pottery
NOTE: This is an intensive 8-session hand-building course with a fixed class schedule. If a student is unable to attend a session, they may reschedule by joining another ongoing session of the same course or attending a replacement class on the 2nd or 4th Sunday of the month. Advance notice is required for rescheduling.
