A1 – Hand Building 101 Course
This is a compulsory course for those who would like to venture into hand building pottery. In this course, you learn basic hand building techniques of pottery making.
Hand building in pottery making terms consist of traditional pottery making techniques without the use of a potter’s wheel.
In this course, you will learn:
1) prepare clay by wedging;
2) 4 hand building techniques;
3) 1 glazing techniques.

B4 – Close Forms – Jewellery Containers And Doughnut Vases Course
Mastering double-wall forms and crafting unique doughnut vases. Blend hand building techniques with wheel throwing, creating one-piece lidded pieces and refining your skills in dividing clay for dual walls.
C1 – All About Plates Course
Join this course to learn how to make side plates progressing to dinner plates. Hone your entering technique and master centering 1kg of clay using the coning method. Create two different plate forms and discover the art of tap centering for a well-rounded pottery skill set.
C2 – Altered forms & Lidded Jars Course
In this course, you'll delve into the art of adding texture to your creations by cutting and altering the form of the piece while wheel throwing. Additionally, you'll master the skill of crafting drop-set lids and jars, expanding your repertoire of pottery techniques.
C3 – Jugs and Cups Course
In this course, you'll discover the art of creating multiple pieces from a single lump of clay on the pottery wheel. Dive into the process of crafting jugs, where you'll master the skills of throwing on the wheel, pulling spouts, and forming handles.
C4 – Wheel Throw with Textures and Colour Course
Explore the art of Wheel Throwing with Textures and Color in this dynamic class. From marbling and inserting colored clay into 500gm forms to expert trimming and finishing techniques, this hands-on experience takes your pottery skills to new heights. Discover the unique touch of sodium silicate application and delve into glazing with colour insertion, pouring, and dipping.
D1 – Bowls & Casseroles Course
In this course, you'll master the art of crafting a 1kg bowl form on the pottery wheel, acquire the skill of applying a drop set rim, learn the technique of throwing a knob for a casserole lid, and gain expertise in the processes of trimming and glazing.
