Combo 2 – Hand Building 101 + Wheel Throwing 201
This combination course comprises of a basic hand building course and a basic wheel throwing course.
Hand building consists of traditional pottery making techniques without the use of a potter’s wheel.
Wheel throwing is a method of pottery making with the use of a potter’s wheel.
This course is suitable for those who want to experience both methods of pottery making.
In this course, you will learn:
1) 3 hand building techniques;
2) to make cylinder forms (e.g. cups) at the potter’s wheel;
3) 2 glazing techniques; and
4) take home up to 20 pieces of self-made pottery.
