This combination course comprises of 2 basic hand building courses.
This course will equip students with basic hand building skills.
Hand building consists of traditional pottery making techniques without the use of a potter’s wheel.
This course is suitable for beginners who would like to explore the pottery making using traditional hand making techniques only.
With this course, you learn 5 different hand building techniques and 2 glazing techniques. Experience how these techniques can be used to produce different types of work.
In this course, you will learn:
1) the process of making pottery with your hands;
2) 8 hand building techniques; and
3) take home up to 15 pieces of self-made pottery.
