205 Wheel Throwing – 500g Thin Wall bowls
This course is designed to help you fine tune your bowl form throwing skills and trimming of bowl forms. In this course, you learn to utilize your clay efficiently, trim efficiently to achieve a balanced piece and glaze application in thin layers.
This course will improve the student’s efficiency at wheel throwing.
In this course, you will learn to:
1) maximize your pulls in order to make thin-walled pieces;
2) understand what a well-balanced weight bowl feels like;
3) have more control over the shape of bowls made;
4) glaze using 1 technique; and
5) take home up to 6 pieces of self-made pottery.
Prerequisite
You must have attended our Wheel throwing course 202 or have prior experience with similar course works offered in our wheel throwing 202 course.
