Clay kneading technique Clay has to be knead, pressed and pinched using the hand technique... push-out trapped tiny bubbles of air, otherwise the air will expand during firing and cause the clay pieces to explode.

  Clay Expression Pottery Studio is located in Subang Jaya a major residential township adjacent to Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam within the Klang Valley.

The extraordinary Batu Caves
A little below the Temple Cave is the "Dark Cave", a two-kilometer network of relatively untouched caverns.

The caverns contain a diverse host of cave fauna, including some unique species.


All roads away from Kuala Lumpur lead to the state of Selangor. Selangor surrounds the burgeoning capital -- Kuala Lumpur, with green suburban arms and is dominated by fishing villages on the coast and inland Kampung.
It extends along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia at the northern outlet of the Straits of Malacca.

Those wishing to visit the "Dark Cave" must contact the Malaysian Nature Society for permission and guidelines.

The third cave, located at the foot of the steps, houses an interesting display of statues and wall paintings depicting scenes and figures from Hindu mythology.

  Selangor's capital -- Shah Alam is dominated by the enormous minarets and gleaming blue dome of the State Mosque, Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.

Selangor's is Malaysia's most populated with an area of 8,000 sq. km and 3.75 million inhabitants.
